Yeah guys its true... Apple launched the Ipod Touch yesterday..
Well, i had been in love with the whole concept of iPhone though it isn't really a smartphone but i loved the looks...
Now if i dont wanna buy the iPhone then i can go for the iPod Touch which is exactly like it and even more thinner...
And here are a few details and pics of it...

Well, what do you know. Turns out the "iPod Touch" is a reality after all. While we initially assumed that Mr. Jobs wouldn't be so kind as to bless us all with two new full-fledged iPods in a single day, we're elated that he had other ideas. The new flagship iPod has "the same size screen as the iPhone, but it's even thinner" (eight-millimeters, for those taking notes), and it also touts the "same multi-touch interface" found on the firm's handset. Additionally, it boasts a 3.5-inch widescreen display, the ability to "flick through your photos," and you even get the "slide to unlock" feature, too. And yes, this thing actually has WiFi. Of note, the built-in wireless antenna isn't exactly attractive, but if it means that we can surf the web (YouTube included) and buy tunes on our iPod, we suppose it may be an acceptable flaw. As for battery life, the touch is said to last 22-hours when playing back audio and 5-hours when watching video, but only time will tell how draining web surfing will be. The iPod touch will be arriving in 8GB and 16GB flavors and will be priced at $299 and $399, respectively, when they ship "worldwide in a few weeks."

Thats Great.... Now I have absolutely nothing to look forward in the iPhone, I'd rather buy the iPod Touch 16 GB for less cost than the 8GB iPhone.

It seems its got most of the features that the iPhone boasts of except ofcoz the phone itself, which we already discussed isnt all that to boast about anyways!!!

Good Job Mr Jobs!!! I had thought myself that now that they've introduced their iPod Phones (The iPhone) the actual iPods wont see much growth, but glad to know I was wrong...

Well, another news from Apple is that its killing iPhone 4gb which is now available for $299 till supplies last... And the iPhone 8gb is now available for $399 which till yesterday was for $599... They have realised their mistakes in the iPhone i guess... Laughing

I guess that Apple got confused somehow with their newest relations with Microsoft.

That also happens to me after havinf a meeting with them... A virus maybe?? Razz

They should focus in one of the two products (iPhone, iPod) to bring the best to only one of them. Divide to conquer often ends in disaster.

Thats exactly what i had thought, that they'd now give their all due attention to the iPhone and no more iPod upgrades will come soon... But... well... lets just see how it goes, for me there's no iPhone for now the iPod touch is more than enough....

as i said before, Apple wont stop.
they have reached a great status with the iPod [Touch], and the iPhone wont degladiate with this new generation at all.

They r similar yes, but they r quite different.
Yet, iPhone will have quickly an upgrade, due costumers reviews/complaints....and most surely in next year (2008), novelties will burst up again in the tech market.

So, iPod Touch a winning product!
iPhone: surprising shining product with a great future ahead!

Suck this Micrsoft!
