Some pointers

Ok, firstly congrats on the new site Angad and Karthik, now back to my usual pessimism :p (btw, this smiley wont load cuz its set to ": P" and not ":p" too)

1. Wats with the ads on the splash page? Lighten up on em a bit dude.. i know u have to make money from the site but atleast distinguish them (the stylesheet) colour-wise.

2. I dont want to sign up on the site AND the forums seperately.. can we integrate the logins?

3. When viewing the themes or wallpapers, I shouldn't have to click on the "Go" button after selecting the number of "Images/Wallpapers per page"

4. The header... sucks.

I know these are kinda rude and "over the top" demands... especially considering that this is my first post, but heck, I want to push you guys to make this the best place for mobiles on the net... will log into this place everyday now Smile

I'm glad to see your sarcastic smile around, Asfaq. Let me play a bit of being devil's lawyer (some say that i'm the devil in the flesh lol)...

1. Have to agree with this but the website has only started Wink

not all are at ease with these things as me Razz

2. Although i do agree with the idea it can get confusing to noobs that might get in here so it is an idea to consider integrating both areas in the same login.

3. True... but this way maybe the bandwidth ain't punished that hard if you only want to see/ check a certain kind of them...

4. Well... i've seen worse. At least, the girl ain't ugly or anything. Laughing

These aren't rude remarks as i see it... it is thru sincere comments that webmaster grow in experience and ideas... i just have hope that these guys will pull off what they propose to. I'm here to help also. Smile

Having total notion dat this website is in continuous construction (like every website) and is still in its first steps, i do agree with some asfaq points.

As for instance making to registers/log ins for both site and forum.

Others things i think they r great, hoping that this project grows along their creator's/moderator's personalities:
friendly, happy, responsible and fun.

by other words, congratulations angad and kartikleo for both hard work.

and of course to seawit for his hard work as well (oi pá!) Wink

Hi buddies,

First of all congrats to both of you on this new site.... I kinda liked the layout and the color scheme.... And its nice to see so many old persons here on this site... I know for a start its a small community but lets make all our efforts to make this a very big community... Since the days I left Zedge, I have been active on various other sites related to mobiles especially symbian related sites.... Let me see how I can promote this site and let some more people join this site.....

I have a suggestion to make. Below each user name in post, in addition to no. of posts and location, you should also add mobile model & its firmware version. That will be of great advantage, in case we want to help somebody.

another suggestion: can u make your themes and wallpapers "taggable".. in the sense that when am looking for a black theme, all i have to do is search for black in the themes section and then click on the tag called "black. Every user who has uploaded and tagged his/her theme as "black" qill be visible then.. wat say?

@ Asfaq: It already is a feature of our gallery, tags here known as keywords, is already part of the search function, whatever keywords people put for their uploaded themes / wallpapers act as search keywords, also any word in the file name acts as a keyword as well.

So if a files name is Jessica Alba and its key words are Hollywood, Celebrities or anything else, the specific wallpaper / theme will show up if a search is performed through any of those words.
